Science Confidence Exhibition

Surely few shall object to my spreading the word of an empirically proven divine in the public scientific community’s largest stronghold.
Pylus Caldran

Held annually in the Unus Astrum Tower of Orsinder, the Science Confidence Exhibition, as currently named, dates back to 5292 in the wake of the destruction of the Third Nova Generator, as the fallout from the incident also fueled an inordinate amount of scientific curiosity and discovery. Prior to this date, the event was known as the Annual Unus Astrum Scientific Presentation and Convention (AUASPAC or OWS-pack) and disallowed Ctjn citizens from attending or presenting.

One of the guiding principles of the exhibition was that anyone who wished to present without running an inordinate fee must release his or her research data and methods from patent and into the public domain. Various terrorist groups approved of this philosophy and often had secret representatives playing elaborate espionage games, mediated by a digital consciousness who may have been playing its own espionage game, in turn, with Vermailian agencies (as well as digital wargames with other entities).

The Convention is, of course, best known for its 5301 edition, lovingly immortalized in several collector’s editions/box sets.
