Pylus Caldran

Born 5231 s.y.v.p.
Died 5301 s.y.v.p.

Arcturian priest who praised all of Arcturia’s teachings, and who kept the faith alive after the traumatic failure of the Gar’tor’at Prophecy nearly destroyed Viridian civilization. Caldran suffered ceaseless ridicule for his staunch faith in holistic Arcturianism.

As a young priest, Caldran’s zeal for Arcturia, of the holy woman and of her teachings, was mocked, as most believed solely in the prophecy. Faith in Arcturianism had been on the decline for thousands of years since Arcturia’s death (~1816 s.y.v.p), despite the near-absolute adoption of the religion among humans. Few within the church and fewer outside of the church appreciated Caldran’s unobjective beliefs.

After the destruction of the Third Nova Generator, Caldran continued to spread Arcturia’s message. He did so without support of the church, as the sack of Gul Arcturis Spicu in Crilinka effectively destroyed it. On the tenth anniversary of the Generator’s destruction, Caldran was fatally beaten at the gates of the Science Confidence Exhibition.
