A short-lived response to the Lesser Stillness, the Love Junta was a desperate attempt by Ctjn aristocracy to normalize commerce on Viridia Prime. Academics concur that it ranks highly among the worst conceived covert initiatives in history.

During its height, between 5238 s.y.v.p. and the disappearance of the First Nova Generator, the Love Junta caused tremendous damage to the public trust. One project that went awry involved luxury hallucinogenic confections. Most historians cite Hans Jerimoth as the worst offender, since the revelation of his non-existence shattered the public’s goodwill bubble. Memoirs of its members accuse Genevieve Floyd of manipulating the Junta to destroy her father’s empire. By all accounts, she had familial and sexual influence, but her scapegoat role is legendary.

The Junta’s ultimate mission was to correct its lingering mistakes and to dissolve itself.

“Love Junta” comes from the literal translation of the Bazrahin Ministry of Peace.
