The Deorsai Protectorate was founded on Viridia Segunda in 5174 s.y.v.p. as a societal experiment between the expeditionary wing of the UVSDF and the Greenlings. While the Druniad’s acceptance of a military presence seemed surprising to most at the time, the Greenling elders secretly saw this as a step on the path to the White Flower Dreaming.

Deorsai unity peaked in 5211 s.y.v.p with the Malika Core Grid, the first full-scale deployment of the Core Process. The rare willingness of both parties to donate to the cause provided a wealth of test subjects, and use of biomatter from both humans and Greenlings showed tantalizing potential (a fusion that later reached near apotheosis in the Nova Entity).

Two years later, the Grid suddenly went supercritical, leading to widespread destruction among the Deorsai. While the Grid was no more, the study of its shortcomings led to the construction of the First Nova Generator within the next decade. On the other hand, the remaining Deorsai no longer cared for the modern technological lifestyle. They embraced the traditions of a bygone age, even renaming themselves Adnaimareui, from an ancient Segundan tongue.
