Nia Istarion, governor of Lof, and Kyril Ayevexra, Hereditary Representative of Azne, were wed 5298 s.y.v.p., two weeks after Operation Aurora and the utter defeat of Vermailian forces threw the shaky alliances between its constituent states into disarray. The two conspired to have their states gain power and perhaps the Premiership when it was leaked that Istarion was a member of the Rayechton Group and had something of a terrorist record prior to her governorship. The couple was thus exiled right before the purge of the Conclave.

For several years nothing was heard of them until reports of the magnetopirates Nia-Ume and Kyril Istvex, Scourges of Naulochos and Antikyra surfaced. After a decade, they disappeared once again to have similar exploits in the Tomorrow Hive, which attempted to apprehend them unsuccessfully for thirty more years. The damage they caused is estimated in over a googol of tonnes.

By all accounts, their marriage was, although politically motivated and rivalrous, a happy one, and they had four children.
