2800 years ago, The United People's Revolutionary Confederacy of Free Rocks had the full attention of the Viridian system. Peoples across the galaxy expressed their sympathies with the Confederacy's struggle.

Despite public opinion, the Empire "rattled swords" with the UPRCFR for over three hundred years. At the time, some believed that the independence of the outer systems posed an anarchic and unpredictable threat. Others countered that Viridia's endless war conspicuously and conveniently gave the UVSDF an excuse to breach any system space. Others condemned the shameless political manipulation of the "dishonorable savage threat."

In reality, the Confederacy consisted mostly of stranded explorers, T'ltssk, and ancient droids. These details did not surface until historians analyzed the evidence--scorched waste collected in over 6000 kill reports. Few reports contain notes on initiated attacks nor of return fire.

Oddly, Meteor Fruity, home of the UPRCFR kriegball team, established itself as the "voice" of the UPRCFR. No evidence connects these ex-Vermailian separatists to another Free outpost, but they lamented a "common" plight for years.
