Hirith

The shapeshifting god best known for its “face” on the side of Mount Nyonyth, Viridia Prime. Hirith is an ancient god of unknown origin that predates Bazrahin contact.

Unlike most gods in the Viridian pantheon, Hirith appears to have no creation story. Oral histories passed down from various primitive human cultures refer to “stone beasts.” In myths, Hirith appeared in the sky to terrify villages, or it appeared on land as a ghastly, unrecognizable creature. Historians believe that humans created Hirith as an amalgamation of numerous encounters with alien lifeforms. Intologists insist that Hirith is an incorrect transliteration of “Ya Lis,” the foot soldiers of Intoa’s interstellar outposts.

Hirith is also unique in that Arcturianism never references its existence. Given that Arcturians strongly resisted Intoan influence, Intologists use this fact to reinforce their explanation of Hirith. Howerver, the myths and stories suggest great diversity. This suggests that the Intoans may not have been as homogenous as once thought.
