Forsilia Kargani

Forsilia Kargani was a great leader and respected warrior of the Bazrahin tribe from −134 to 25 s.y.v.p. Fellow tribesmen praised Kargani for its “intellectual curiosity,” a euphemism for its unorthodox research interest.

Outside of the Bazrahin wastes, Kargani’s legend is one of suffering, mutilation, and fanaticism. It had a great respect for the diversity of life. Of creatures that it admired, Kargani created a list, now known as The Sixteen. Today, The Sixteen simply refers to the dominant species of Viridia Prime, but it once represented a controversial Bazrahin initiative.

Kargani believed that a creature’s power manifest itself in an energy crystal that circulated its body. Records show that Kargani never detected, discovered, or demonstrated such crystals. Verbose documentation of the vivisections describe its struggles to sustain the life of its subjects as it searched their bodies for days on end.

The Bazrahin allowed Kargani to experiment up until its fatal encounter with a molting fork-tongue. After its death, the majority of its lab staff was prosecuted. In Bazrahin culture heroes die with glory, but they often take it with them.
