The most successful Acrological construction built during the Lesser Stillness. Elsoni Starsnare eventually became the Viridian intellectual center. The foundations for the city were established deep within the Kalipmon Crater in 5235 s.y.v.p. Peak height: 12,013 stories with residences beginning at story 8,000.

Famed architect, Bwiyn Qetz, envisioned the vertiginous tower in 5196 s.y.v.p. during a two day nightmare. During his experience, Qetz was flung from paradise, hurled through space, and driven into Viridia Prime leaving a barren crater on impact. From the center of the crater, his deceased brother’s hand broke through the earth to lift him, but it eroded into ligament and bone before reaching the stars. Voron Belthaszar had urged Qetz to “find peace” and the tower followed—a twist on his friendlier, welcoming oeuvre.

Visionaries from Viridia Prime and Viridia Segunda, often personally invited by Belthaszar, established the business and culture of the Starsnare within months of its groundbreaking. In the beginning, people flocked to join Viridia’s elite in the tower’s lower levels. Over time, the population began to segment, with the wealthy, influential citizens occupying the lower floors, and the lower class living in the top 3,000 stories.
