Wee Joo

Wee Joo (date of birth uncertain), first gained galactic notability as an Honored Associate of the Protheon Institute for Higher Thought, spearheading its advocacy of the Hands Alive movement. His involvement in the movement was significant, perhaps providing the critical impetus which transformed it from a pragmatic response to societal disruptions into an ideologically driven campaign.

In accord with the Institute’s other Benevolent Initiatives, Joo publicly embraced the Hands Alive movement as a necessary step towards eliminating the reliance of sentient beings on the exploitation of mere organisms for critical resources—in this case, clothing.

Joo was, however, ultimately critical of the Unified Platform as ratified, claiming that its support for several types of synthetic fiber constructed by specially engineered microorganisms “missed the point entirely”.
